Data traffic is one of the most important components of the control of the propulsion system of naval vessels, and the speed, reliability and security of it is related with the effect and efficiency of the control system.After IT network technology, embedded system is a new direction of technique development. Embedded system has been applied in military, electronics, communication, industrial control and so on, because it has the character of small size, high Performance, low cost, high reliability and oriented object program.The device of industrial automation based on the embedded chip has a deep develop space. Today many embedded controllers of 8, 16, 32-bit have been applied in the fields of industrial Process control, digital control machine, electric power system, electrical net safety, electrical net device monitor, chemical system. In the field of traditional industrial control, 8-bit micro-chip controller is the main selection. But with the development of technology , 32-bit and 64-bit micro-Processor gradually become the core of industrial control device.The intention of this topic is designing the embedded of the control of the propulsion system of naval vessels which can been applied in the control of the propulsion system of naval vessels. The main content of this article is:1 .This article describes the development of embedded system, its classify, its applications in all kinds of fields and the direction of its development roundly.2 .The second chapter introduces the whole design of the embedded industrial controller based on the principle of embedded system design3 .The third chapter introduces the hardware of the embedded industrial controller.In a word, the article emphasizes the Platform architecture of hardware and the explant of the RTOS.
