Modern prestressed structure is being widely applied in civil engineering, traffic engineering and hydraulic engineering. But it still has much potential. For prestressed structure, the durability will be lowered when it has manufacture drawback or it was applied in bad circumstance (such as air pollution and acid rain) in which the prestressed bar are always in high-stress state, the problem of stress corrosion is serious especial for the structure such as crossing-sea bridge. Comparing with the traditional prestressed steel bar, the CFRP bar has many advantages(such as none-rusting, no magnetism and high ratio of strength to weight). So if it replaces the traditional prestressed steel bar in prestressed structure, the structure will has better performance.CFRP prestressed structure is a new structure. The study for it is a systems engineering with many objects. There has many basic things to do such as test analysis, calculating theory, design method and so on. This paper choose some representational problem to study such as anchoring, design and calculating theory and so on. Through test and design analysis, presenting scientific design method.1. ing anchoring tests for 3 groups of 6-CFRP bar, 2 groups of 11 -CFRP bar and 1 groups of 16-CFRP bar to check felting ability of homemade structure glue. By analysis the test results the best anchoring project has been made.2. fem-programs with catenary cell has been made. The calculating results for CFRP cables are compared with steel cables. The static parameters and dynamic character of cable structure are also compared for two kings of cable structures. Some conclusions have been made.3. Using the fern-software ANSYS, the fem-model of the first CFRP cable-stayed bridge has been founded. The bridge's static and dynamic characters have been studied. and the results are also compared with steel cable-stayed bridge. Different characters were got between two kinds of bridges.
