It has been 80 years that since the induction heating has been applied in industry. Theory and equipment of induction heating has developed this period. In applications field, induction heating apply to melting, fully heating, heat treatment and jointing, and it is a important energy sources in many industries such as metallurgy, national defense, machine-driven industry. Moreover, the induction heating is coming into family life, such as induction cooker. For the future, technology of induction heating power will develop to high frequency, great capacitance, intelligence and green. Currently, the high frequency induction heating power can function in a few hundred KHz , and it's technology is quite maturation.This paper introduces simply the development and application of induction heating technology, and the basic knowledge of induction heating. It has analyzed the two main topologies that are often used in induction heating power supply, and has drawn a conclusion that a voltage-source series-resonant inverter adapts to induction heating power supply. The electrical design of the whole power supply is given in chapter three. The control diagram of rectifier, inverter, driver and protection circuit are all given here. It has designed power supply on ± 15V , 5V ,20V with TOPSwitch. The good design of driver circuit and the choice of component can decrease exterior disturb and stabilization. It has analyzed that the output capacitance can reduce switching losses. In chapter four, the simulation of the system main circuit is given. When the output capacitance is given, the switching losses can reduce, and the simulation waveforms are also given in the four chapter. According the design, experiment has debugged time after time in the last chapter, it has preliminary realized the expect aim and gotten the experiment waveforms.This paper has researched ultrahigh frequency solid induction heating power that can function in 1 MHz, and it achieves principle purpose.
