Air-conditioner has been widely used in our country at present. The temperature control of the traditional air-conditioner is to detect the changing of indoor temperature then to control the compressor's switching on or off by the temperature sensor. It leads to a lag to changing of temperature and makes the indoor temperature to fluctuate greatly. It influences both the accuracy of air-conditioner's temperature control and the comfort of air-conditioned surroundings. Moreover, the traditional air-conditioner's temperature regulating is an intermittent changing process. It can't adjust the air-conditioner's working status in time according to surrounding's temperature changing. Therefore, it can't control fully automatically and waste much power. Today, people are hankering to comfortable surroundings but lacking of enough energy resources. So it has very important theoretical value and practical significance to research a new type of air-conditioner controller and solve the existing problems.This paper is targeted at the terminal controller of the fan coil center air-conditioner. Basing on the domestic and abroad research achievement, it adopts single-chip microcomputer to control the fan coil air-conditioner. It has developed a fan coil intellectual air-conditioner to replace related abroad product. Fuzzy control method can be used to solve the existing problems of traditional control method and to realize the fan's speed and the refrigerant's flow capacity step-less regulation to reduce energy consumption,This paper has also illuminated the control theory of the fan coil center air-conditioner terminal controller. First, a fuzzy control form can be obtained by off-line calculation. Then, it deposits the control form into the computer as a data. During the control process, it needs only the temperature's sampled result and set value by means of fuzzification, fuzzy consequence calculation and defuzzification to get controller's output capacity. The last, it acts on the control objective to accomplish expected control aim.This paper has presented the intellectual controller's fuzzy control algorithm. It includes mainly defining controller's input and output variables, these variables' fuzzification, fuzzy rules definition and translating the output fuzzy capacity to accurate capacity. Fuzzy consequence uses Mamdani algorithm, defuzzification uses center of gravity.
