As a kind of new-style intelligent algorithm, chaos optimization algorithm is got extensive attention and studied. It has got application in some field, and has a good applied prospects. The paper main research the chaos optimization algorithm application in the heat power engineering control system, according to the characteristic of the control system, utilize Chaos optimization algorithms to seek optimal controller parameter. Because the ergodicity characteristic of the chaotic variable, it can get the global optimum, the system can control very well using the optimized controller. The paper is discussed and studied that the chaos algorithm may appear convergence property is not very good, and has proposed improving measures and schemes. Utilize Chaos optimize algorithms to identify the heat power engineering system model finally. The simulation result has shown the feasibility and validity of the algorithm.
