The main steam temperature transfer function of the power plant is the large inertia, large delaying and more disturbances. Moreover, the dynamic changed with the load. In this paper the author propose a model reference fuzzy self-adopting IM controlling method based on the combination of the fuzzy and IM controlling theory and design the IM controllor using the relative arithmetic; in order to get optimic steadiness the filter parameters can be tuned through calculate the error-e between the computation outlet and the test result as well as the changing rate. Meanwhile, the outlets of the system are predicted by the feedback adjusting method. According as whether the system response is in the range of the error band and whether the model prediction output exceeds this error band. This method synthesizes fuzzy control, inner-model control and adaptive control, and strengthens the robustness of the system. The simulated result shows the method lead to the optimizing dynamic characteristic for the plant process controlling.
