Being a new industrial form,eco-industrial park can effectively achieve the harmonious development of economy, society and environment, so it has been the main derection of worldwile industrial parks future development,and the theory and practice of eco-industrial park has been developed in many contries.Going with the ubsurge of the eco-industrial park construction,the planning and designing of eco-industrial park become a mostly hotspot in eco-industrial research field.This paper expounds the theory origin of eco-industrial park and its the development course has been reviewed,realizing that the theory and method of eco-industrial park's planning and designing stilly lack of deepness and schematism,so it is just in primary phase,but it also bring the freely researching roomage. As the present eco-industrial park planning and designing just confine in industrial eco-system and its construction,it much disparity with the essentialy eco-industrial park.Hence this paper probes into the planning and designing theory of eco-industrial park with the industrial ecology,landscape ecology and social ecology as the theory elements,through the planning and construction of eco-system,landscape ecosystem and ecocivilization,it can conceptive a three-dimensional mode of eco-industrial park planning, much more the planning mode will be a direction of essentialy eco-industrial park construction.As case of Shangluo eco-industrial park,this paper choose medicament industry, environment industry,new material industry, foodstuff industry as the four dominant industry basing on analyzing society, economy and level of technology etc.Then a industrial ecocommunity composed by key company and its assistant firm.Also this paper probes into the eco-design of landscape patch, corridor, matrix, ecotone with landscape ecology as the guiding theory.At last human entironment and sustain system are also discussed.As planning and designing eco-industrial park still lack of standard theoryframe,its system and complexity require that people from different field shouldunite .Thus it will help to establish scientific planning theory system of eco-industrialpark which would effectly meet the continuable development of economy,society andenvironment.
