Multi-storey and high-rise light steel structure housing can alleviate the contradictionbetween current less urban land for constructing and the area for housing. Moreover, thelighter own weight, which makes its anti-seismic capability stronger, is also ideal structuralsystem; Along with the factorization of member, the mechanization of whole installation inthe spot, and the seriation of products matching with. At last the industrialization ofresidential housing will be realized.But the higher price of steel is the main factor which baffles the development ofmulti-storey and high-rise steel structure housing. In order to reduce the cost, we shouldunavoidably begin with reducing the usage of steel amount. Beside we use reasonabledesign method, we should study and develop economical structural systems, as well asfloor lab and wall board with light weight and high strength. Using light steel floor lab andwall board presented in this paper can lead to reduce cross section of members effectively,increase operation rate of usage area, lower own weight of building, and decrease burdenof base, so that we can cut down construction cost. It is beneficial to the development ofmulti-storey and high-rise light steel structural system of housing.In this paper, through designing, calculating and analyzing between the new light steelstructure system which made of light steel floor lab and wall board and other three designschemes, the former system has many advantages in technological economy indexes, suchas light own weight, good structural property, short construct period, etc. It has obviouscomprehensive benefits, and it is one kind of environmental multi-storey and high-riselight steel structure housing deserving to popularize.The purpose of the paper is beneficial to the popularizing and application of the newmulti-storey and high-rise light steel structural system which is a real one, and to promotethe developing process of industrialization of residential housing.
