The Study On Square Environment Design In Winter Cities

For special climate, the city landscape of winter cities in winter is desolate. To some extent, the phenomenon reduces the attraction of winter city and influences the economic development in winter city. Therefore, there is urgent to improve the quality of winter cities' outdoor environment and enhance winter cities' attraction.As one of the city important public spaces, City Square that has reasonable and scientific design will improve the environmental quality in winter cities. This paper centers on the research of square' s environmental design in winter cities. The author analyzes the feature of the season or the vegetation in winter city and activity regular or behavioral psychology about people who act in the square. In the basis of the analysis, the writer puts forward the "3D"standpoints to guide the environmental design of winter City Square, i.e. the standpoint of "Design for people" the standpoint of "Design for nature" the standpoint of "Design for place". According to "3D",the design factors of squares in winter cities include square' s scale, square's space form; square's green, square's color, square' s shelter; square' s cultural activities, square' s management. Through the detailed analysis on these factors, I hope this will improve the design standard of city squares in winter cities.The results indicates that square' s environmental design in winter cities should not only avoid the common failing which exists in city square's construction of china, but also lay stress on the specially regional characteristic. There are almost half years of winter in winter city. So the winter in city square ought to not be not neglected and be equally considered with spring, summer, autumn. This won't set aside the city square for half years and create the leisure resources waste. Square's scale is suitable. It is thought that 10hm~2 is the upper limit of winter City Square. In square, it is essential to apply scientific plant disposition to build a comfortable circumstances. Warm color is the elementary tone and we should pay attention to harmonize the square' s color. Moreover, square plentiful cultural activities and square perfect management are advantageous to enhance the conditions of city squares in winter cities.
