More and more attention has been paid to the safety in production of colliery, so this project "Study of ARM-Based Embedded Monitoring System on Emulsion Pump Station" concentrates on the work state monitoring of the Emulsion Pump Station which is the most important section in the mining safety.With development of the industrial automation, the need on monitoring system of field application has been increased greatly, such as the real-time ability, reliability, stability, expansion ability. Under this background, a design of ARM embedded processor platform and μC/OS-Ⅱ embed system is discussed in this project, which the structure composed of underground monitoring system and the remote data management system is adopted in. Using this monitoring system, such the works as data acquisition, processing, transmitting and display could be completed as quickly as need. The hardware predominance of the processor is fully exploited to have the μC/OS-Ⅱ embedded in it, which commands the missions and controls the communication among these missions so as to meet the diversified demands of the field application.Under the control of S3C44B0X, sensors acquired data. After transaction in circuits, the data is sent to processor for analysis and processing. The data processed is displayed on the LED display screen. When needed, alerting signal could be sent and the power of emulsion pump could be cut off. The UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) is applied to communicate the underground monitoring with the remote data management system, which virtual instruments technology is applied in when designing the program. The received data is put in the database according to the time sequencing for user's inquiry and analysis. So, the remote acquisition and the scientific management of data are realized.The thesis first analyses the demand of the system, confirms system function goals and required performance, then puts forward the designing overall frame and divides function modules.
