Research Of Pre-Warnning System For Train's Running Gear Safety Monitor Based On DSPs

Train as a traffic instrument, its safety and comfort are two most concerned problems for the people. With the full-scale acceleration of main railways in our country, these two ones are more remarkable, and become the main factors against it.Derail coefficient and ride quality are two quantitative standards for evaluating safety and comfort of train. International Organization for Standardization and International Union of Railways have made appropriate standards. Through special research, especially through plenty of tests, Japan, U.S, Britain and France have revised and drawn up specific plans suitable for their own applications founded on the international. Our National Bureau for Standardization and State Ministry of Railways have also made appropriate standards, that is ,GB 5599-85 and TBT2360-93.But on the process of vehicle carry on, it's hard to measure and test the safety, and the steady target is belongs to macroscopically. To measure and test the state of the moving vehicle more accurately, and to increase the moving vehicle's reliability, Nan king Pusher Vehicle Work, Southwest Jiao Tong University and Shanghai Tongji University are trying to develop " Safety Detecting and Pre-warning System on Vehicle". But on the process of vehicles carry on, it's hard to measure and test the safety. On the other hand, the steady target is belongs to be macroscopically. In the System, the failures on the train's running gear are classsificated,and the acceleration signal from the running gear is tested and measured,then is proccessed real-time.The system can monitor whether there are failures or not continuously,it can not only be pre-warning,but also find the class and cause of the failure quickly when there is.
