Automobile cabin noise influences the comfort of the passengers. So it is very important to develop the technology of automobile cabin noise control. Comparing with the traditional passive control, active noise control can control the low frequency of automobile cabin noise better. So extensive attention and recognition have focused on the control of automobile cabin noise with active control technology. Arming at the physical theory of active control which uses the second source to counteract the primary source, this paper firstly analyses the characteristics of open sound fields and closed ones, then expatiates the theory of active noise control and express intuitively these maths models via analyze idiographic finite element models, and elicits the rule of the placement of the second source. Secondly this paper predigest automobile as a finite element model, joined with theory of noise control, and put the second source and error sensors in proper position, then simulate the automobile cabin sound fields with professional acoustic analysis program. Conclusion: it can get a good effect if we put the second source in proper position and adjust the magnitude and phase. Finally a experimental system, according to simulation, is established. I do a series of work with the system and educe conclusion of active control.
