On the basis of studying the present application status of thermal power plant at home and abroad, the disadvantage of the existing optimization software and the questions, which need to be further researched, are introduced. These questions are solved one by one in this paper. A new data fusion method for on-line performance calculation of turbo-generator is presented in this paper and the data fusion algorithm is put forward. The algorithm can give the performance calculation result reflecting the turbo-generator's real status well and truly. The arithmetic of preprocessing the data and the program are introduced in detail in this paper. The mode of C/ S, 3-lay C/S and B/ S are analyzed, the achievable method based on the mode of B/ S is achieved. The manifold projects are compared in this paper, and the achievable method based on the project of the real-data acquired by the Distributed IO device and redundancy system is put forward.
