As a popular form of light steel structures, gabled frame is widely used at present. The difference between light steel structures and conventional ones is that many measures have been taken to reduce steel dosage as much as possible. Now, the research on controlling steel dosage focuses on getting the most superior section size of various structure units according to the internal forces of sections to save steel. However, the research standpoint will be changed in this paper. From the structural configuration angle, this article aims to reduce steel dosage by reducing the stress on the most disadvantageous section with reasonable house gradient under certain natural conditions and further reducing the structure section size.This article analyzes structure with finite element with the help of the finite element analysis software - ANSYS and programs some applicable programs with its APDL. This article proposes the reasonable house gradient be about 10° ~ 20° because the researchers have made detailed study in four cities of different natural conditions on the change of the internal forces of portal frame under different house gradient and have analyzed all kinds of natural factors that may affect the internal forces.The researching methods of this article and its conclusion can be used as reference in the designing ofgabled frame structures. |
