The purpose of Distribution Automation System does decrease non-plan power off and improve the quality and manager level of Power supply. Whereas, it is embodied by ultimate user. Transformer Terminal Unit, which is studied in the paper, is the last spot of Distribution Automation System. It does achieve to supervise the parameter of distribution transformer in local position or remote one. The electro-quality is decided by its performance. It is obvious that Transformer Terminal Unit plays a very important role in improve the quality and manager level of Power supply.Considering the limitation of current TTU in China, this thesis presents a new type of TTU based on the technology of MSP430 processor. The product is applied extensively in middle-low voltage distribution network.This paper is mainly based on the study of MSP430 processor. First, the paper introduces the theory of power parameters measuring. It analyses the error which is generated in the course of power parameters measuring, presents the source of generating and expounds tactics of adjustment, and then, designs the hardware system of TTU. According to different function, the hardware part is divided into processor module, analog signals input module, digital signals input and output module, spreading periphery based on IIC bus, communication module, display module, and power supply module. Finally, introduces the design of the software system of TTU. The paper provides the course of software design from the system angle and by means of the module designing thought. The functions are implemented, which include: power parameters measuring, energy metering, communication, display and transformer data storage.At present, realizing the functions and spot operation verify that ,TTU has a simple structure powerful functions and stabile reliable capability and it possesses higher precision to energy metering .It deserves further application.
