The technology of multiple channels is helpful to increase the performance of the aero power-supply system. It has attracted much more attention on doubly salient electro-magnetic motor recently because of its unique structure and outstanding characteristics. Multiple-channel brushless DC generator is a new kind of generator, which is made up of doubly salient electro-magnetic motor. It can improve the reliability of the power-supply system of helicopters. This thesis studies two-channel doubly salient electro-magnetic generator system from four perspectives, such as the basic theory, control, modeling and simulation and the hardware design for the system. Firstly, this thesis introduces the basic structure, static characteristic and the operation principle of two-channel doubly salient electro-magnetic generator system. The relation between the most parameters of the system is analyzed. As a result, the mathematical model of the system is built. Then, with the help of SIMULINK/PSB toolbox in MATLAB, the thesis introduces a kind of way to model the system. Many pieces of theory in the thesis are simulated and analyzed on this model. Finally, the detailed hardware design for the system is given. A prototype of the system is built up. The experiment results are obtained on the prototype, which prove that the theories and the simulation analysis are correct.
