| Reconnection electromagnetic launch (RCEML) is recently pioneered as one of the most promising application domains from pulse power technology, and it is the newest style of electromagnetic launch, which is combination of the two following merits. One merit is rail electromagnetic launch (EML) that is able to launch excess high-speed projectile. The other merit is coil gun that is able to launch great mass projectile. So RCEML will be widely and far-reaching applied to spaceflight, aviation, as well as various national defending weapons, transportation and so on, and get more and more extensive attention from various countries. In this paper, the experimental system of 3-stage RCEML is analyzed. On the basis of the analysis, an ignited control system and a speed-measure system suitable for the 3-stage RCEML are designed.First of all, an introduction of EML is presented briefly, and then a general formulation of RCEML which is an important sort of EML is introduced mostly. The formulation of RCEML includes the development, the advantage, the application area, the sort, the principal, the core technology, the problems needed to be resolved, and so on.The structure, the experimental equipment, the holistic arrangement and the experimental process of the 3-stage RCEML are introduced exactly. The integral of RCEML is analyzed, including the supply unit, the switch unit, the measure unit and the drive coil. Series of problems in the experiment are pointed out and the actual outfits used in the experiment are introduced. The structure figure of 3-stage RCEML is depicted in the paper, and then analysis of the work process is presented.In the paper, an ignited control system and a speed-measure system are designed for the 3-stage RCEML. The ignited control system is used to ignite the 3-stage RCEML apparatus. It contends manual control and automatic control. The performance of the triggered system is tested and analyzed. The speed-measure system is used to measure the speed of projectile and indicate the velocity trend of projectile during the launch. The structure of speed-measure system is analysed and the corresponding hardware andsoftware is designed in the paper. It's practicable to the acquirement of 3-stage RCEML system according to the test of ignited-system performance and speed-measure system. |
