According to the characteristic of DAS, its correspondence communication demands are got. After proceeding with the comparison of current communication methods, select a wireless communication technology – Mobitex to design our DAS. In order to validate the feasibility of using Mobitex in DAS, an experimental system of DAS is built up. Under the condition of our experimental system can work in order, a new project of communication system is brought up. The new Multi-serial ports communication system, which is based on the technology of Mobitex, will hold a great application foreground in Power system. Finally, the process of designing the communication system is particularized.
