This paper adopts the 2~# boiler of the Beihai power plant as the simulating example. The simulating conditions interfere in three load conditions and other conditions changing the second air velocity. The velocity field, the temperature field, and the ingredient concentration are obtained by simulating the combustion process in furnace. Comparing with different operating conditions, the conclusion can be got: When adjusting the airs is operated, changing the inner second air can bring effects smaller than changing the outer second air, so changing the inner second air can be as a complicated controlling method for the boiler operation. On the contrary, changing the outer second air can be as a simple method for the boiler operation. Compared with the full load, when the load reduces to the forty percent, the economics is worst. As the load reduces to 80 per, the economics is better. The simulating results can guide for the actual operation.
