At present, the engineering construction of domestic water conservancy and power is in unprecedented flourishing developing period, many low head run-of-river power stations are built on the rivers of our country progressively, the bulb tubular power station (BTPS) among them becomes a kind of prevalent pattern presently because of its smooth flows, aircrew's large flow, high unit rotational speed, high efficiency, small size, light weight, good energy and economic indicator. However, because of unique arrangement pattern of factory of BTPS, it causes stress distribution to have characteristic which is different from the routine factory of power station, especially BTPS built in the high earthquake intensity district. So, the research and analysis of this project has very important realistic meaning.The factory of BTPS is more compact in structural layout. The factory is generally made up of upper backwater gate, flows, lower backwater gate, top structure of main factory etc., which is complicated three-dimensional structure composed of many holes. As water retaining structure, factory should bear horizontal effort of upstream and downstream, that makes distribution of internal force more complicated than other patterns, especially bulb tubular aircrew's pattern and stressing mode having own characteristics makes structural layout and stressing condition of factory more complicated. Therefore, static and dynamic numerical analysis of factory of BTPS must be carried out, to understand stress and displacement state of the factory under all kinds of design condition comprehensively, to solve many technological difficult problems in design, that makes structural design of factory more rational, security economy.Through the research, stress, strain and deformation picture can be obtained, naturalfrequency and mode shape of the structure of factory can be gained, so to instruct structure reinforcement and crack control. Natural frequency of flows and abutment pier of surface pitting and that of unit should be staggered relatively in order to prevent the resonance..
