Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is that happy situation in which systems workas intended, both within themselves and in their environment. EMC is a new andinterdisciplinary study which contains plenty of hard research, and it is applied to manyareas. As the science and technology having been developed, Electromagnetic Interference(EMI) became serious and its protection became more and more important. Thedevelopment of SG- laser facility is a subproject of National 863 High-Tech Programof China, and the supervisory control system of the energy module of the SG- laserfacility is "416" subproject of the national "863" project. The supervisory control systemis the research object of this thesis. The thesis focused on the EMC analysis of thesupervisory control system working in a terrible electromagnetic environment and a peakdetect device of common-mode coupling is presented in the thesis. The EMC is the extend of EMI, therefore, the thesis studied the potential EMI of thesupervisory control system through analyzed the three facts of EMI Interferencesource, Coupling route, sensitive device and. The primary interference is thecommon-mode coupling via the signal coaxial-cable. We offer qualitative analysis andmeasure result of the common-mode coupling. EMC test is an important means to study EMC problems. With EMC test the EMIphenomenon of equipment can be reflected really. In order to reflect the real EMI instanceof the supervisory control system we designed a peak detect device of common-modecoupling. In the thesis hardware and software of this device and some ways to restrainEMI and depress consummationwas presented. The thesis is organized into four sections. The significance of the EMC and itsresearch status at home and abroad was summarized firstly, the EMC theory andtechnology also presented briefly. In section analyzed the supervisory controlsystem's EMI and offered qualitative analysis and measure result of the common-modecoupling. Section presented the design of the common-mode coupling peak detectdevice. The thesis was summarized and the suggestions were presented to the continuedwork at the end.
