The Evaluation For Intensive Land-use Of Small Towns With Accelerating Urbanization And Supportable Planning System In China

Our country has entered the phase of accelerating urbanization, small towns play a strategic role in urbanization. By analysis of space form, efficiency of land-use, industry space lay-out, construction of inhabitants, infrastructure configuration of the small towns under various development impetuses system of regions with accelerating urbanization.By defining the concept of land intensive use of small towns, based on the "sustaina-ble development concept","regional concept" and "market efficiency concept", it puts forwards to establish the evaluating item systems for land intensive use of small towns from the aspects of economic aim, social aim, ecosystem environment aim and dynamic aim.Based on the evaluation system, it uses comprehensive evaluation method of many items to evaluate land intensive use of small towns. It chooses SongMen town in WenLing City as an example to test this method.Finally, aiming at the land intensive use, this paper suggests improvement of planning establishment and planning practice: it probes for new planning basis, looks for approp-riate planning establishment level, establishs the new methods for predicting the scale, br-ings forward the comprehensive area concept, exalts the position of economy evaluation;establish the science plan of the land use; establish the benefits integration mechanism, perfects the mechanism of land market etc.
