Basing on the summary of history, research fields of compact mechanism and effect test of filling-stone subgrade and existing problems in Geotechnical Engineering field, the influence factor of compaction effect and every kind of examination method of quantity examine on the spot of filling-stone subgrade are introduced.The summary of history and research fields of discrete element method are introduced, furthermore, the basic theory, basic parameter and calculate method of discrete element method also are brought forward.In order to simulation coarse-grained soil from laying open and trimming to compacting process ,for the sake of the displacement not continuously but stress continuously ,the author don't adapt the basic theories that adopt tiny particle soil's press and basic mechanics model, according to the coarse-grained soil engineering mechanics character .the author adapt the discrete element method (DEM) to simulation the process of compaction, not only put forward to affecting coarse-grained soil compaction a key factor —fragmentation ratio clearly ,but also qualitative analysis the result factor of coarse-grained soil compaction . Taking the dynamics of vibratory roller and the coarse-grained soil as a integer which is three-degree-of-freedom vibro-impact system, the author research the Compaction Meter work mechanism. the disadvantage of the Compaction Meter and ameliorate measure are brought forward .In order to study the detect method of coarse-grained soil compaction, a large number of tests on the spot are completed. the test result is analyzed According to the difficult of test ,the rapid of test and the effect of test ,the quality of control and the quality of detect method are put forward in filling-stone subgrade .
