Gear transmission system are most widely used as motion and load transform part in all kinds of machine and equipment, which dynamical property and ability have significant effects on the machine and equipment. In order to improve the transmission efficiency, the system is tended to design to run in high-speed and heavy-duty condition and with small shape. The vibration, noise, dynamical load, big stress and distortion which caused by high-speed and heavy-duty can severely influence the safety and stability of the machine. It is instant to carry on the study on the gear transmission system with high property.This paper is under granted of the special scientific research fund of Doctor's program which certificate number is 2001061106: The Research on the analysis system about dynamical property of the high-speed and heavy-duty gear transmission. The dynamical optimization of gear transmission system is presented to minimize the value of vibration acceleration based on the complex modal theory, structure optimum theory and dynamical response analysis method. This paper carries on the following research:1 The three dimensional model which consists gear pair, draft, bearing and gearbox has been created by Pro/e software and the finite element model of the gear transmission has been created by Patran software provided by MSC. Software Company.2 The influence which damp cause to the natural properties of gear transmission system is presented. The principle of the damp is also discussed in briefness. The proportion damp is considered as one aspect to study the dynamical property of the gear transmission system and to analyze the natural property.3 The exciting force caused by the inner stimulation include time-variable stiffness, gear tooth error and meshing shock is general considered. The exciting force has been computed by the numerical simulation method.4 This paper analysis the dynamical response of the gear transmission system based on the modal time response theory and presents the results of the dynamical response analyses under the inner dynamical exciting force. It is coincidence of the results computed and tested that prove the dynamical model is correct.5 The dynamical optimization of gear transmission system is presented to minimize the value of vibration acceleration under the constraints of dynamical stress and displacement. The level of vibration and displacement of the gear transmissionsystem is reduced after optimization, and the results of the optimum design of the gear transmission system are analyzed at last.
