| According to CA4D32-12 engine develop project of FAW Dalian diesel engine works , the technologies of reducing emissions were investigated. CA4D32-12 engine is used for light truck of 3T to meet EURO II emission regulations.Key investigation of exhaust emission behavior from Diesel engine. Optimizing and matching of parameter on turbocharger, inter-cooler, port, combustion-chamber, fuel supply system including hole number, hole diameter, angle of injector's nozzle, nozzle lift pressure, static fuel delivery advance angle, pump and oil consumption are used for analysis exhaust Emission behavior.Turbocharger is important parameter of exhaust emission behavior. Turbocharger technology on DI engine can improve the performance of power, economy and exhaust emission. To order to decrease exhaust emission, enhancing the turbocharger's rate and intake air, using light-high air/fuel rate for decrease smoker emission and control max combustion temperature and decrease NOx emission are used. Matching Four kinds model of turbocharger, GT22-02 turbocharger is the best model.Inter-cooler is parameter acted on performance of engine, exhaust emission. Lower pressure drop of inter - cooler improve performance of engine, emission.Port . To small model and high-speed engine, because bore of engine is small, Amount of diesel directly inject to wall of combustion - chamber is increased. It need improve intake-air swirl and enhance air movement in cylinder and get better performance of exhaust emissionCombustion - chamber is the key factor of combustion-system development. Compression rate and diameter/depth ratio are important parameters of combustion - chamber. In order to decrease particulate emission and smoke, The speed of diesel collided in wall of combustion - chamber, transfixion-depth, swirl ratio and swirl-keep duration are investigated in layout combustion-chamber. Modify combustion-chamber get better performance in smoke and exhaust emission, it meets target which decrease particulate emission.Fuel system is heart of emission development. It is major factor. To fuel system, match experiment include:1),Nozzle number of injector。Nozzle number is the key factor to exhaust emission. 4-holes increase 6 holes ,it reduce smoke emission。Too much holes make that transfixion-depth turns shot and act on each other, the performance of engine turns bad. Swirl in combustion is the stronger and the number of Nozzle is the letter. According to experiment conclusion, the 6-holes Nozzle of injector is the best Layout.2),Nozzle diameter 。The number of Nozzle is 6, diameter of Nozzle act on emission are investigated and analysised. Different of Nozzle diameter make different of the areas of nozzle, it will change injection pressure and injection durable 。Because of experiment matching conclusion, Optimizing diameter of nozzle is (0.21mm。3),Angle of nozzle。Angle of nozzle affects point of fuel filling in the combustion - chamber. Movement of air in cylinder is very difficult ,piston go and down movement, these factors affect the point of fuel filling in the cylinder and distributing of fuel spray。Through conclusion of experiment is studied, Optimizing angle of nozzle is 1520.4),Nozzle lift pressure of injector。Increasing the nozzle lift pressure, it will increase fuel injection pressure in cylinder at begin of injection, faster speed of fuel injection. Injection duration was be shorted, emission and smoker will be improved. As basis of reliability need, too high Nozzle lift pressure will affects performance of idle, choose the Nozzle lift pressure is 22MPa.5),Adjusting static fuel delivery advance angle is effective to reduce the emission of diesel engine. It's general that the delayed period of ignition extends with the advancing of fuel delivery, and the quantity of fuel injected in the delayed period of ignition in the proportion of quantity of fuel quantity of fuel injected per cycle increases.
