In recent years, the electrical harmonic pollution is getting more and more serious with the far-ranging use of nonlinear components in electric and electronic devices. It has become a curse to power system, which deteriorates the quality of electric energy and greatly increased harmonic distortion in power system voltage and current waveform, which affects the safe and economical operation of electric power system. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the real-time content of harmonic and control the status of harmonic in electric network.It is difficult for multi-parameter detection using the common instruments. With the advent of microcomputer, kinds of instruments based on microcomputer disappeared, but many of them are not exactly in harmonics analysis, and it is difficult to monitor electric parameters online.This paper advanced the design and theory of a kind of implement of the measurement of electric parameters and harmonics analysis that based on CANbus. It can be used in wide areas. The device used Phase Locked Loop technology to solve the problem of high precision in simultaneous sample, avoiding the problem of sampling simultaneously by software. The harmonic analysis of electric power system is achieved via the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). It is of great convenience by using complex sequence FFT to measure electric parameters and analysis harmonics exactly.
