The calculation of urban water supply system is relative complicated in consideration of network's modeling, node demand calculation, initial flow distribution, forming of correlative matrix, universal programming, and drawing method of isopiestic line. There are also many factors interacting at the same time. Only through thorough consideration, the approving result can be achieved. The article includes three parts, which discuss network's calculation, and plot methods of isopiestic line respectively.The universal calculation software includes node demand flow calculation, initial flow distribution, recognition of correlative information. In data processing, a method based on automated created correlative matrix is emphasized. In the network's drawing process, we can see that every step is easily controlled by VBA in AutoCAD. Finally a new method is presented to creating isopiestic lines.This paper makes full of the strong abilities of Visual Basic and the interface provided by AutoCAD and advantages of two are mutual reinforced. It reaches the goal of universal software in water supply networks calculation.
