This paper is original from an item on technical innovation in Line Electric Pump Limited Corporation, which mostly researched the theory of water pump capability parameters testing, analyzed the errors, and built the measurement and control system. In order to accommodate itself to a modern and large-scale production, Line Electric Pump Limited Corporation must develop and build a modern testing system, which can improve the level of water pump testing techniques. The main content of the thesis is as follows:Firstly, status and developing trend of the water-pump testing techniques are introduced. Secondly, emphasize researching composing of the distributed measurement and control system, the theory of testing and methods of measurement about the water-pump flux, pressure, axial power, rotate speed, and the electromotor coil resistance. In order to improve the test precision, the method of analyzing wasting is raised, which is used to measure the axial power. Thirdly, the microprocessor's hardware system is designed according to the actual using demands. The system can realize the collection and saving of data, communicate with upper machine, and so on. Fourthly, the measure system of the electromotor coil resistance is designed in order to accommodate the method of measuring axial power. The system can realize the measurement and communication with PC. At the last, the errors are analyzed.Through the studies in the paper, especially the research of distributed measurement and control system, measurements of axial power and error analysis, can provide practical significance in the measure and control system of water pump.
