As a new type of pile, Thin-wall pipe pile using cast-in-situ concrete (PCC) is of good application prospects. However, people have placed too much energy on studying their construction crafts, and has neglected its theory and research of testing the respect. The designer does not often know the real working properties of pile in the design work, result in this or that fault and cause enormous to waste, sometime even leave the serious potential safety hazard. The paper has promoted the research of theory about the PCC.First, PCC is introduced detailedly, and the current situation of theoretical research about pile sedimentation is summarized and reviewed. Second, according to working characteristic of thin-wall pipe pile using cast-in-situ concrete in ocean engineering and roadbed engineering, we divide pile into two kinds of situations named pile with cover and pile without cover. Basic differential equations are respectively established for soil core and pile body using the theory of load transfer. Third, computational programme of the new pile have has made in this paper. One example has analyzed and interrelated Q-s curve has drawn by using the programme. Fourth, the expressions of force of friction inside, force of friction outside, axial force of pile have made in this paper. And the working properties has basically proclaimed. Fifth, pile length, pile diameter, cut rigidity coefficient of side soil, and rigidity coefficient of bottom soil are main factors which influence working properties of thin-wall pipe pile using cast-in-situ concrete. Sixth, combining the canonical require, a way to rough estimate the ultimate carrying capacity has propounded. "Experimental research project of PCC in the peninsula of Wenzhou" is introduced, that is helpful to carry out the next work. The calculation theory made in this paper has a good veracity to simulate practical engineering.
