Along with people to car safety, comfortable, economy of continuously pursue, and the electric power steering technique is already an important one of development of car techniques. Within short and short and several decades, the power steering system has experienced the traditional mechanical steering system to the hydraulic power steering system to the electric power steering system .And the electric power steering has been widely accepted because of having the power size adjustable, environmental protection, low expend, convenient maintain and so on . This lesson design principle is based on design principle of electric power steering system. According to continuously developing, creative design thought, we have developed a new power steering system - electromagnetism power steering system.This paper firstly compares several kinds of power steering system that having been used. And it introduces the electromagnetism power steering system's basic construction and work principle. And at last it introduces in detail the development process of power steering system and its future development trend .Chapter 2 is mainly analysis and design of electric circuit of control system . Firstly, it compares the merit and defect of PLC with that of single chip industrial control computer and DSP .And with the consideration of the system's demand and performance-value rate ,we select a new mixed-signal system on a chip( SOC)—the C8051Fxxx series for SILICON LAB company .The chip has the same instruction system with MCS-51 , and it integrates almost the all external analog and digital equipments that are used to constitute a microchip data acquisition and control system and the other function parts; Then this chapter analyzes the importance and necessity of the anti- interference design in the control system soft hardware designs , and according to these thought we analyze and design the electric circuit diagrams of each unit .Chapter 3 is the study of control arithmetic .At first, it establishes the mathematics model of the steering system and imitating model of control system. Then basing on the MATLAB Simulink imitate platform, we analyze and compare the control effects between the PID and FUZZY_PID control arithmetic that applied to current control of the electromagnetism power apparatus . In conclusion, FUZZY_PID control has the better current control effect .Chapter 4 firstly introduces the Cygnal software integration development environment and the designs of thesoftware for each unit which are based on modularization design thought.Finally, Chapter 5 sums up above contents. It proceeds to analyze and discuss for some problems and places that need the further improvements.
