For obitaining higher stability and self-level-off capability under outside disturbs, an electro-hydraulic servo loading system is developed and, a new arithmetics has been also discussed in this paper.This flexible loading system that can be used to carry out smooth loading pressure is mainly made up of electro-hydraulic servo valve, pressuer sensor, control unit, and close pressure loop system. In the flexible loading system, the 89C51 single chip microcomputer is used as controller, and the combation of the electro-hydraulic servo valve with pressure sensor provided. For obataining the higher loading precision and anti-vibration property, fuzzy control method has been used in the system.The system is real-time scouted and, using a PC and serial communicating mode transmits related information.As an example, the design of the system is introduced into a pin-disk frictional tester. The design involved in choice of the hydraulic apparatus, matching of the system parametres, and designes of electric control system, 89C51 single chip circuit diagram, and fuzzy logic controller. A simulation of the fuzzy controller has also been done to compare the property of the system with that of traditional PID controller. For carrying out long-distance serial communication, the operating face between person and computer was programmed by VC++. Some key programs are described by segment notation or flow chart.For the flexiable loading system, its advantageous properties in higher stable precision, faster self-level-off and speed, and programming simplification has been verified by a serival simulation results.
