Research About Methods & Application Of Urban Road Cross-Section Planning & Design

The planning of urban road cross-section,which consists of motor lanes,bicyle lanes,pavement,medians,board areas,side areas,and virescene,is the major content of urban road planning system.the design of urban road cross-section is the syntheses of traffic engineering,civil engineering,municipal engineering and virescene,etc.Based on the analysis of design criterion,research report and actualization concerned to the planning of urban road cross-section from home and abroad city, this article, firstly, studies the function of urban road,road grade structure and their relationship,summarizes fives synthetical function,includingspace,strass,traffic,carrier,landscape&virescene,publicspaceandcalamityproof,etc,and analyses the relationship between urban road cross-section planning and traffic method,city landscape, virescene, traffic noise,land-use.secondly, concretely studies the reasonable width and technic requirement of each essential component of cross-section of the section and the crossway of urban road.finally,put forwards the planning method of urban road cross-section:"face, line and point " combination, and analyse the realization of synthetical function of urban road from three aspects:"face, line and point",including the analysis of combination relationships of the urban road cross-section,the methods combined the near future with the specified future,and the matching relationship and measure of transit capability between the section and the crossway of urban road.Through the research about methods of planning&design of urban road cross-section,this article put forwards that the planning&design of urban road cross-section should be combined with the requirements of aspects consisted of urban land-use, traffic&transportation, landscape&virescene, public space,calamityproof,etc,and face towards the realization of the urban road's synthetical functions ,reasonably define the combination relationships and specific width of each component of urban road cross-section,and realize the " face, line and point "—three organic syntheses of urban road.
