Study On The Problem Of Increasing Capacity In Danjiangkou Hydropower Station

Danjiangkou hydropower station is the key project for multipurposes of Hanjiang River. Since 1968 year the first unit was installed , the project had a lot of benefits involving flood control , electricity , irrigation and navigation . The capacity of Danjiangkou power station is 900MW , it is a very good peaking-regulation power station , it is also a main power station in Huazhong electric grid .On this thesis , two important conditions are taken into account , one is the water-transform from south to north in middle part of China , the other is to increase high of the dam , much more attention is paid to study on the problems of increasing capacity of Danjiangkou power station.The thesis consists of six parts , they are the followings : the demand of peaking regulation in the gird , the feasibility study on increasing capacity of Danjiangkou power station , utilization of water resources and flood routing after increasing the capacity of the project , comparison of different alternatives , economic assessment of different alternatives of increasing capacity .The conclusions are made in the last part of thesis to present the best scheme of increasing capacity in Danjiangkou power station.
