The improving and reengineering of product development process can effectively reduce the cost of product development, shorten the cycle of product development and improve the quality of product; Importing the modeling of design history and domain knowledge, realizing the integration of product data, domain knowledge, process design and design history, the traditional design act can be improved and product development can be speeded. From the view of the knowledge utilization and concurrent engineering, on the base of analyzing the status of concurrent engineering, process management and knowledge engineering, the requirement analysis for current product development process is carried through. The multi-view process modeling method based on information flow is presented and described in detail; Process-oriented knowledge supporting syste:n is built, which is constituted by domain knowledge, process history and design intent; Concurrent product development process and knowledge management system is built; The theory on process management and knowledge processing is discussed and new process model and laiowledge model frame are presented. On the basis of theory research, the integrated scheme of knowledge-based concurrent product development process management system is designed, and is realized in the light of some models such as modeling, instantiating, the status ransformation in the process of instance executing, instance inspecting and knowledge management and so on, and it is validated in the motorcycle design process of Qingqi Co., Ltd. The result is satisfactory and the innovation and practicability is validated.
