Infrared Thermography Technique And Its Application In Architecture Engineering

The difference in temperature of the surface of the sample will be produced when the sample is immitted continuous heat, for the different configuration in the sample. The damage is detected by the temperature of the surface obtained by Infrared detector. It names Infrared Thermography. It is a nondestructive, non-contact and real-time technique, and has important status in nondestructive damage evaluation.The principle and usage scope in architecture engineering of Infrared Thermography are introduced in this paper. The application in detecting the debonded ceramic tiles on building finish, the damage in the plaster of armor plate is emphasis. The feasibility of detecting the damage in concrete filled steel tubular is explored, and doing some locale detect in the plaster quality of mosaic . The mode of the test and the method of inspection are showed in detail, as well as the factors affecting the result. And the factor of environment affecting on the conclusion is especially emphasized. Some opinion is put forward. Detecting the damage in the plaster of armor plate is initiated study, by the literature we mastered. It means a lot.The survey results prove this method used in detecting the debonded ceramic tiles on building finish and the damage in the plaster of armor plate is available by following the appropriate way. But the method used in detecting the damage in concrete filled steel tubular is not available at present. More study must be needed. Infrared Thermography is considered to replace some old and perplexing method in inspect by degrees, and improving the efficiency and precision.
