The oil injection system is the key part of diesel engine. It directly influences the power,economy and the use capability of diesel engine. Among them the injection pump is theutmost importance part of this system, and the fuel injection pump test stand is the keyequipment to adjust and test the injection pump of the diesel engine. The 6PSD30-1 fuel injection pump test stand in this design is the old equipment producedin the 70's and leave unused. Its power and control parts are made up of large discretecomponents with inconvenient adjustment and high trouble rate. Moreover, it lacks fueltemperature monitoring and control system (according to the international standard, fuelinjection pump test stand's test fuel temperature should be among 38 ℃- 42 ℃). Also, itsfuel measuring system use traditional glass cylinder with inconvenient test and low testsensitivity. Use the single chip computer and automation technology, a real-time monitoring& control system made up of PC and single chip computer has been designed. In the system,the single chip computer software and a few hardware circuit are used to realize measuringfuel volume, counting, measuring rotation speed, adjusting rotation speed, presetting anddisplaying the injection times and rotation speed automation. Also in the system,communication between the upper and lower computer, that is between PC and 8031 singlechip computer is realized, thus the test stand intelligentization is made. The system hardware is composed of upper and lower computer. The upper computer, thatis PC microcomputer, is the headquarters of this system. The lower computer, 8031 singlechip computer, is the collection and control station. Data collecting, pretreatment, controlexecutive body and etc can be carried on by it. Communication between them is available byuse of their serial communication interfaces through RS-232 Lines of Communication. So,data collected and pretreated by 8031 is transferred real-timely to PC and is displayed, saved,printed and managed in PC. Simultaneously, the 8031 single chip computer sends outcontrolling signals to drive the executive body. The system software included upper computer system software and lower computersystem software. The upper computer system software is developed with VB and composed offive modules, such as setting of parameters, real-time monitoring data, communication, thestandard debugging data and help module. Each module has certain function andindependents each other. The lower computer system software is developed with 8031assemble language of MCS-51 series and composed of modules of main program, timeinterrupt service routine, receiving interrupt service routine, data collection subroutine, dataprocessing subroutine and control subroutine. Through the debugging on-line and analog test of part function, this system has afavorable operating environment and friendly interface. It is easy to operate, upgrade andmaintenance. The system has achieved the design requirement basically.
