This paper introduces the design scheme of infusion monitor system which is suitable for widespread application in hospital infusion room. Single-chip, DSP technology and infrared technology are applied to the system to replace traditional methods that measure block and leak using pressure detector. The circuit of the system has been simplified and the cost has been reduced. Because DSP has the function of PWM, it is used to control electric motor instead of traditional single-chip computer.The design of medical infusion pumping system is divided into three parts: 1. Liquid drop measurement.2. System interface.3.Electromotor control.After the abstraction and measurement of liquid drop, the liquid drop measurement part transmits the information to system interface part. DSP obtains the information, which has been dealt by system interface part, and controls the rotation of peristaltic pump that is driven by stepping motor. Finally, the intelligent control of the system is achieved.
