Study Of Traffic Information Center Frame In Main Hub City

The main hub city supports highway networks of our country. While facing with many international traffic problems, it is one of the keys to research the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in these cities. Traffic information center will become an integrative platform with administering the network, managing passenger transport & freight, issuing traffic information, and so on. And it developments will promote the highway transportation with intelligence and information. Interrelated problems about traffic information center are studied in the paper. The contents are as follows:The connotation of the traffic information is the information center' s physically foundation. The analysis of the information demand is the precondition to construct the center. Beginning with the information definition, the meaning and attribute of the traffic information are discussed in the thesis; the conception of broad sense traffic information is brought forward. Based on the peculiarities of information users, traffic information contents are studied for three objects.The traffic information center frame is studied in the thesis. On the basis of the traffic information demand of administrator, manager and public, the frame is divided into four systems and many subsystems. In subsystems, the emphases are put on analyzing manifold information for one information user, and cared for the connections with the others.Aimed at the peculiarity of variety and complexity, it is arranged as "from overall to partition, macro-management combined with concrete operating and micro-information demand" in the paper,4and the structures of subsystems are studied. The information is admeasured step by step into different demand objects, to structure the whole traffic information center frame.
