Reinforced soil wall which commence in France in 1960s is a sort of light-retaining engineering structure and compound structure composed of facing panel, reinforcement and filling, too. It depend on the friction between reinforcement and filling, balance horizontal soil pressure of facing panel received and resist the soil pressure produced by filling of tail of the lacing wire, so as to ensure the stability of the whole structure. Reinforced soil is welcomed deeply in engineering field for extensive application, low price and simple structure, and it has been carried on a large amount of research and application in the departments, such as railway, colliery and highway, etc. successively since introduced by our country in seventies, which demonstrate wide development prospect. At the same time, it is unfavorable to be popularized and applied, because reinforced soil wall has complicated pressure, remarkable interplay mechanism between soil and reinforcement, low design efficiency and need to be calculated in a large amount. It is one of the important contents of development of technology of reinforced earth to study deeply, introduce technology of CAD actively, shorten design cycle and advance design quality.Technology of Computer-Aided Design has been applied to every walk of life extensively for some advantages, such as short in design cycle for a project, high in design quality and low in design cost, etc., and it is imperative to substitute the complicated artificial design with CAD. It is the fashion of development of CAD software presently to be standardized, intelligent, visual and interactive.Understanding the project question correctly, considering users' habit richly and drawing experience existed, author adopt up-to-date design principle to develop Computer-Aided Design System for Reinforced Soil Wall of Railway. System adopt Visual C++ as program development language, try to quote the Object-Oriented idea and apply the Object-Oriented programming mode, so as to make the software read-in, record and output conveniently, and have even more readability, portability and maintainability. In order to make level clear, be operated easily and keep identical style, system is adopted the guided interface that users know well very much. Its user interface is fully Chinese.Developing successfully of the system is going to promote popularization and application of technology of reinforced soil wall, and offer an available idea ofdevelopment for developing other relevant CAD software, too.
