Abstract/Summary:
With the development of national economics and traffic facilities, our bridges are supporting more and more serious loads. But most of the bridges that were built in sixties or seventies even in fifties last century now are still being used because of the history and fund. And there exist some factors which are the lower designed load standard and narrower width of the bridges. All of these factors make the bridges exist some hidden danger. So the damage of many bridges occours more and more which require urgently the development and enhancement of the study of bridge detection and evaluation in many aspects. This thesis makes a study of bridge detection and evaluation by taking a case of Yunxian bridge of Longna highway. It follows by some parts below o First, it introduces the significance, current situation and development of the bridge detection and evaluation. Second it detailedly illustrates the common damages and the detection method of arch bridge, afterwards it makes a research of the load experiment method of arch bridge by use of Yunxian bridge.The last it makes some studies of arch bridge's reinforce technique. It is a very complicated task of bridge detection and evaluation which involves all kinds of bridge.
