The analysis of temperature fields and thermal stresses is animportant subject in analysis of engineering structures. After Analyzingthe temperature fields and thermals stresses of tubular heat exchanger,this paper attains important conclusions, which can be applied inengineering situation. This paper has preceded mainly the several steps asfollows: 1. Applied the simplified element model, the influence of theconvective heat-transfer coefficient to temperature fields is obtained. 2. The temperature fields and thermal stresses of the tubesheetstructure model subjected to convection are analyzing and the result iscompared with that under only temperature boundary. 3. The stress fields of tubesheet structure model under onlytemperature load are compared with that under operating case. 4. The influence on the maximum stress under operating case usingtwo welding materials at entry of tubesheet structure model is comparedwith that of using only one welding material. Based on calculating, analyzing, and then comparing with the result II北京化工大学硕士学位论文of analysis under only temperature boundary, it is concluded that theproperties of the temperature fields and thermal stress field in the tubularheat exchanger put forward in this paper will take important roles inengineering design.
