Abstract:With the analysis on the causes of the cylinder bore deformation and wear-out, all the causesing factors during the machining course and resolving methodare discussed comprehensively , The main working procedure are analyzed indetails ,especially in the accuracy assurance of cylinder bore and bore top groove,and the phenomena of the problem easily happened in the course of machining,including assuance in the design, application, maintenance of the machines from theunstable of the top groove depth and chattering while machining; Fixture design,improvement adjustment; Tool cartridge application and adjustment; and machiningdata set. In addition, the suggestions for the machine function selection on how toform the plateau honing net vein for the cylinder liner given for the fixture design andapplication. Much practice experience demonstrates that in order to get qualifiedmachining surface, the machine tool, process data, honing stone as well as honingoil are very critical. In the end, the conclusion of the easily happened mis-operationfor machining the cylinders(such as cylinder bore match clearance, roughness etc.) isdrawn and the further study has done for reducing the piston wear out from theaspect of material, shape ,and surface treatment.
