Because of the complexity of geological and environmental conditions, the stability analysis and prediction about rock is still a world scientific difficult problem at present. Most of the successful predictions are carried out by the monitoring work. At the same time, it is still worth researching that which theory to use and what kind of theory model to found so as to solve the rock fall prediction problem to reduce damage loss by science. The main content of this thesis is the stability analysis about the danger rock mountain of Lianziya by catastrophe theory and finite element theory to find a new general prediction model and its stability evaluation.The main work of this thesis is as follows:â‘ The difference between danger rock mountain stability basis and prediction basis, including the adaptability is compared in the thesis. Based on the observation data of Lianziya, the steady-state model set by stability analysis method of catastrophe theory is applied to judge its stability. â‘¡ The simplified mechanics model of soft stratum deformation is built up. The cusp catastrophe model of the off-stability of the danger rock mountain is deduced from the potential function of the system and the theoretical analysis about the mechanism of off-stability and dynamics characteristics is done. The catastrophe theory conditions and displacement formula of critical off-stability point is carried out. â‘¢The stability about the danger rock mountain of Lianziya is analyses by finite element theory.â‘£A new test method for researching and predicting the safety of the danger rock mountain is advanced. Based on the observation data about displacement and deformation, we can simulate the change process of displacement and geostress of the danger rock mountain and analysis the critical state of its by catastrophe theory The possibility of off-stability of rock mountain is predicted by analyzing the develop orbit of parameter.
