Loess slope in nature is heterogeneous,the structure of slope is complex,prone to subsidence and landslide,it has brought great losses to people's life and production,so it must be processed before used in engineering.The new type of curing agent is being gradually applied in practical engineering because of its excellent properties.In this paper,the new type of curing agent SH is used in the loess slope to study the effect of the curing agent SH on the stability of the loess slope.The finite element software of ANSYS is used to quantitatively analyze the influence of the reinforcement thickness and the paving mode of slope reinforcement area on the safety factor of the modified loess slope by the method of strength reduction and catastrophe theory.The specific contents of this paper are as follows:(1)A large number of related literatures have been read and carefully summed up the theories and methods of soil slope stability analysis and the research status quo of the use of curing agent to improve the stability of the slope of the slope.(2)It has been summed up that the finite element strength reduction method as a destabilization criterion,it is susceptible to human factors,and can not be accurately solved,can only get a rough range.(3)In this paper,the method of strength reduction and catastrophe theory is used to determine whether the slope is stable and quantitative to obtain the slope safety factor by the standard potential function of the cusp catastrophe model with the relationship between the horizontal relative displacement and the reduction coefficient at the slope angle of the heterogeneous layer characteristic point in the slope.(4)Using APDL to succinctly and quickly change the parameters of thickness and paving method of the slope reinforcement area in the model,the change rules of slope stability coefficient is studied with the parameters of the curing agent SH to obtain the effect of curing agent SH is stable to improve the loess slope.The results achieved are as follows:(1)After the improvement of SH,the slope safety factor of heterogeneous loess slope has increased and the safety factor increases with the increase of the thickness of the reinforcement area.In a certain range,the thickness of reinforcement is approximately linear with the safety factor,which shows that curing agent SH can significantly improve the slope stability.But synthesizing economic benefit and the influence of excavation on the original slope,it is suggested that the 20 cm SH modified loess be used as the reinforcement thickness.(2)When the areas of slope reinforcement area are equal,the reinforcement area adopts the top of the slope 10 cm,the bottom of the 30 cm trapezoidal paving way to the loess slope safety factor is higher than the upper and lower sides are 20 cm parallelogram paving way to the loess slope.The increase in safety factor increased by 3.45%.It is recommended to be adopted in practical engineering.
