It is the important part of the Three Gorges Project that the grouting disposal of F 1096 geological fault across Permanent Shiplock. This article summarized the basic demands, difficulties, technologic measures and the executed process about safety strain-monitoring. During the grouting, once information of monitoring was fed back, the builder took action in time, thereby the safe was insured in the monitoring part of silo-wall. It shows that strain-monitoring can guide the grouting construction. Based on the result of strain-monitoring, the theoretical method of back analysis about strain is introduced, and according to it, the matched Fortran program is made. At the same time, a simple example and an engineering example about the silo's grouting altitude from 79.4-84.4m are given to test it. It turns out to be feasible. Besides, it is applied to obtain elastic modulus of earth from the bottom of shiplock in Tuojiang, and the effect is good.
