In china,tall buiding have been greatly developed in the last twenty years.The current status and future trends of this development make the wind-induced effects of tall buildings as one of the most important effects affecting the buildings'safety,serviceability and economy. It is essential to develop effective researches of the wind induced effects of tall building. The paper is based on Wind Tunnel Test of Wuhan International Stock Buildings. In this paper analysis of wind pressure,wind induced response,equivalent wind load and wind load spectrum which vary with wind directions are processed. At the same time,This paper introduces Proper Orthogonal Decomposition(POD) method and applies this method to reconstruction and forecast of pressure taps'fluctuating wind pressure. The main research has been done as follow:The first part of the paper analyses distribution character of mean wind pressure of skirt building,main body structure and tower of Wuhan International Stock Buildings in some wind directions. Analysis and summarization is also made to law of mean wind pressure of part representative pressure taps varying with wind directions,and initially analyses the causation. In addition,wind pressure for glass curtain wall design are presented with code method and standard method,respectively.The second part introduces Proper Orthogonal Decomposition(POD) of wind pressure specified at non-uniformly distributed pressure taps of main body of the building.It reconstructs the wind pressure of part of pressure taps,and compares with original wind pressure,then account the error of reconstructed wind pressure and original wind pressure,and analyses the causation. Moreover It deduces fluctuating wind pressure coefficient of non-arrangement pressure taps from the original pressure field.The third part analyses law varying with wind directions of wind induced response including acceleration and displacement,equivalent wind load and internal force of building's bottom. In addition,analysis of effect on wind dynamic response of building which will be built in times to come and effecting mechanism is made.The fourth part analyses wind load spectrum of three dimensions which occur in theheight of 706.5 mm of building's model in wind direction varying from 180皌o 270?and obtains law varying with wind directions of three dimensional wind load spectrum and its mechanism.
