A Study And Development Of Public Traffic GIS For Planning And Management

Public Traffic Planning is an important part of Public Traffic Management.lt is important to the rational layout of the public traffic line web and the unobstruct of public traffic. Because of the lack of the spatial data and the advanced spatial analyse technology, Orthodox public traffic planning is deficient ,such as the difficulty of maintaining the spacial data.the lack of the relation between spacial data and feature data,the shortness to express the result visually.GIS provide the solution to the problem.The aim of this paper is to study and develope the Public Traffic GIS for planning and management.lt can provide abundant spatial data to the public traffic planning .analyse the spatial relation to get the public traffic features.and provide visual analyse .consequently it can support the planning project establishment.By the support of GIS.the system can reduce the difficulty of getting the public traffic features .and reduce the working intension of the planning personnel,moreover, the public traffic evaluation will be more rational.the planning project level will be improved.In the previous chapters, this paper describes the status of research and development on Public Traffic Planning at home and abroad.The shortage of actual Public Traffic Planning and the meaning of studying and developing the Public Traffic GIS for planning and management are expatiated. Then, this paper analyses the problem of the actual Public Traffic Planning and put forward the means.Next, this paper expatiates Public Traffic Planning and GIS. Subsequently, this paper analyses and designs the Public Traffic GIS for planning and management.Finally, this paper illustrates the GIS of Public Traffic Management And Planning For Guangzhou Municipality, expatiates the design and realization of the GIS of Public Traffic Planning.
