The Practice Of Architectural Programming In Residential

"architectural programming"is the combine of the 2nd era design methods, which is one of the type of the modern architecture design methods. Alexander was the father to prompt the theme of this design method. Though the concept was much more developed in the past 20 years in the West, it is not yet in China. At the first beginning of the 90' in 20th century, when the concept "architectural programming" was prompt on by the Professor Zhuang Weimin in our country, there was a blank from the scheme to the construction. Because the architectural programming is one of the design methods, so it is much more related to the practice of the design work. As the market is becoming rational and matured, the method was accepted by the clients and the architects, even by the agents, and was used widely by them.This article is based on the theory of the design methods, and combine with its practicing in the real project. Through a lot of analysis ,it intent to correct the policy of the education, explain the concept of the "architect" newly, strength the responsibility of the architect.
