Control And Guidance--Study On Urban Design At The Stage Of Regulatory Planning

The regulatory planning is very significant that it can connect not only a master planning and a site planning, but also planning, administration and execution, and put a speculation of urban design into reality. However, at present, the regulatory planning has some problems of theories and methods and practice which influences on the effect seriously, especially it is a weak tache in China In fact, the experience indicates that urban design is a kind of available means that can make up some shortcomings of the regulatory planning. As a result, the study of urban design for regulatory planning has become one of the most important tasks because it can perfect the workout of regulatory planning and system of urban planning and design, especially it can satisfy the demands of high qualities of city construction in the process of such a rapid urban development.The thesis is devoted to research the theories and methods of urban design at the stage of the regulatory planning from the perspective of speciality with other related disciplines and appropriate methodologies. It is very important that the core of thesis is to establish the basic theoretic framework whose characters are based on control and guidance of urban design at the aspect of the regulatory planning.In order to analyze the basic theoretic ideas of urban design, the thesis discusses systematically main contents, the connections of urban design, urban planning and architecture design included. Then the thesis builds up the system of urban design which can provide theoretic base for urban design of regulatory planning by researching the relationships between system of urban planning and urban design. In view of the above, the thesis analyzes the practical problems of subject at the stage of urban design for regulatory planning. So the thesis can put forward the better production on the base of which it can establish the basic theoretic framework whose characters are based on control and guidance of urban design at the aspect of the regulatory planning.Except some aspects such as the administration, the public participation, etc, the thesis emphasizes the theories and methods of urban design for the constructiveness of planning and design at the stage of regulatory planning.
