Study On The On-line Intelligent Fault Diagnosis Of Power Transmission Network

With the gradual extension of power system, it is very important to provide the operator with an online automatic intelligent fault diagnosis system of power network in order to quickly restore after fault and alleviate the operator's pressure. This paper deeply researches on fault diagnosis system of power network and combine it with the whole dispatching automation system closely. The fault information will be acquired from SCADA and fault information system with two channels. Based on the idea of fully using all fault information, this diagnosis system adopts expert system technology and the control strategy based on forward and backward reasoning with the layered and distributed structure. It is driven forward by the operated breaker and protection information and then backward validated by expert rule with combination with fault record information. Finally it can show detailed and specific diagnosis result and devices' estimation state. Compared with traditional power fault diagnosis system, this system improves remarkably not only in real-time property, intelligence and reliability but also in flexibility.
